Noida Authority Released Govt.’s 90 Acres from Intruders

The Noida Authority, in its furious action against land intruders, recaptured nearly 90 acres of government land.

In a highly furious action against the land intruders, Noida Authority finally recaptured its land worth Rs.10,000 Cr. Nearly 90 acres of land was freed from the land intruders.

The growing importance of Noida real estate market has attracted many real estate builders to this area. With the aim to make a windfall, many ambitious people have started up constructions without completing any legal formalities. The Noida Authority has warned all such builders and developers who have illegal constructions in Noida.

90 acres of land were recaptured from three major sectors. It shows the amount of land encroachments. The anti-encroachment cell of the Noida Authority recaptured the intruded land with the help of Noida district police.

Land intruders were dispelled from the Sectors 62 and Sector 63 mainly. The Noida Authority released 50 acres of land from the land intruders. An additional 40 acres of land was released from Sector 63. Besides these two sectors land parcels were freed from sector 64 mainly by the NH-24.

Noida Authority has decided to make its attitude tougher against such land intruders. The Authority further warned those who have illegal constructions. It announced that it would trample down all such illegal constructions.

The anti- encroachment operation was initiated at 11 a.m. and got over by to 4 p.m. Thus it took around five hours to finish up the task. With the help of half a dozen bulldozers, Noida Authority demolished the illegal constructions in the land.

According to an official of Noida Authority land encroachers are strong and highly active in Noida. Many have illegal real estate constructions in the government land, added the official. These land parcels were purchased by Noida Authority many years back. This land was kept apart for industrial and institutional purposes. The official said that the Noida Authority will build fencing around the land. The official said that it would restrict the future encroachments.
