PMO Brands Robert Vadra DLF- Real Estate Scam Clean

On another controversial move, Prime Minister’s Office gave clean certificate to Robert Vadra against the Real Estate Scam between Him and DLF.

PMO in its affidavit submitted to the Allahabad High Court stated that the real estate dealings between the real estate developer firm DLF and Robert Vadra are entirely a personal matter.

Prime Minister’s Office turned down the real estate land scam allegations against Robert Vadra as false and unreliable. In its affidavit the PMO said that the allegations are purely meant for gaining cheap publicity. PMO added that there is no point of public interest in the allegations.

It was Arvind Kejriwal, an activist –turned – politician, to allege Robert Vadra against real estate land scam. His demands to have Central government probe against alleged Vadra- DLF links, remained unheard till Allahabad High Court directed the PMO to file an affidavit in response to the petition.

Affidavit placed before the Allahabad High Court stated that the allegations are false and unreliable. They have no firm grounds as they are based on hearsays, the affidavit adds further. The PMO submitted its affidavit before the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad HC.

Another PIL was filed by activist Nutan Thakur. In reply to her PIL, Allahabad HC ordered the PMO to express its views on probing the alleged relationship between Mr. Vadra and the real estate developer firm DLF clearly.

The affidavit was produced by Dheeraj Gupta, the joint secretary at PMO. It declared that Vadra- DLF dealings are personal matters as these are purely business transactions. The PMO affidavit accused Nutan for filing the PIL, basing on nothing other than newspaper reports. Mr. Vadra and DLF have explained their positions related to the raised allegations.

Nutan Thakur filed her PIL when her appeal for central investigation returned her no answer from the PMO. Hearing her PIL on October 11, the division bench comprising Justice Uma Nath Singh and Justice VK Dixit ordered the PMO to present its objections on her petition. Allahabad High Court is to hear the case again later.

Kejriwal’s accusations say that Mr. Vadra bought real estate properties worth millions only with the help of unsecured interest free loans granted to him by the real estate firm. Yet he remains incapable of revealing the purpose behind these. It still remains clueless to the normal public.
