Shilpa Shetty Launches Groupco to enter realty

Shilpa Shetty is planning to expand her business to real estate. Bollywood Diva has launched Groupco for footing into residential construction.

Groupco Developers is the latest venture of Shilpa Shetty. She has been into business for a quite long while. She is one of the favorites for those who love cricket just because she co-owns Rajasthan Royals team along with her husband.

Besides Rajasthan Royals team, she runs a chain of spas. While her spas provide better health care, her IPL franchisee provides better cheer and entertainment.

Yet, she is not happy. Being born in to a middle class family, Shilpa Shetty what their troubles are. The most grievous trouble for them is no money to own a home. Thus the real estate entry of Shilpa Shetty offers hope to the middle class people who have no homes.

Groupco Developers is a joint venture between Shilpa Shetty and Hem Tejuja. Both the partners will have equal investment in the venture.

The developer group aims to construct affordable homes across the country. The group ventures will be jointly executed with the collaboration of the land owners.

Commenting on the launch of Groupco, Shetty said that the main focus of this group will be residential development. She added that the projects will be completed with the help of land owners.

The main aim of Groupco, the Bollywood Diva says, is to make the lives of common people happier. This is possible, however, by providing them homes. She added that despite the hard work, many of them are not able to own a home.

The year 2007 is very important for Shilpa Shetty. This was the year in which she rose to fame by winning Big Brother, one of the top British reality shows.

Entering the Bollywood arena, she made a strong presence in the industry. She has a number of super hits to her credit. However after her marriage with Raj Kundra, she turned to business. She is present in the IPL 2013 with her team Rajasthan Royals.
